We explore scripture, discover what it is to come “as like a child” to the Lord, and recover the joy in our Christian walk. We will be using artistic & creative methods to learn about Biblical concepts/scripture, and through discussion & fellowship, we will take the journey together. This is a group for adults who are interested in recapturing the awe & wonder, opening up their imagination & creativity, and seeing God in a new way. Sharing the dinner meal is part of that fellowship. For this reason, Branches sessions will start at 6:30 and go until 9:00 pm. That will give us time to eat/visit and still have time for activities/discussion. *************** You do not need to bring anything for your first visit to Branches, but it is recommended that you wear clothes that are comfortable & able to get dirty, as we will be painting and playing at times. It’s not all art though... We will explore scripture, learn the Word, discuss our experiences and make new discoveries. We will play. The point is to see things from a new perspective and learn what it is to be a fruit-bearing branch in the vine of Jesus. Granted, sometimes our discussions can get deep, but that's part of the discovery! |
