Branches was started by Tammy Lewis-Talbott under the direction & inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The purpose is in helping each other live more creatively in Christ... creative abiding. Through the study and application of God's Word by creative, dynamic & fun means, it is the goal of this ministry to develop a closer, more joyful and powerful walk with the Lord... to learn what it is to be child-like, and not child-ish. This ministry is based on five specific points of scripture: John 15:5 “I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” Nehemiah 8:10 “… the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Luke 18:17 “Verily I say unto you, whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.’ 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 "For though walking around in flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warefare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ; and having readiness to avenge all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled." Jerimiah 33:3 "Call to Me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do no know."

 I believe in living with joy and purpose in Christ. He brought me out of so much; despair, self-destructiveness, depression & pain, and even out of witchcraft. When I was yet a sinner, He loved me enough to step in front of that train for me... the train that came in the form of a tree and three nails and carried all my sin, all my illness, all my bitterness, and every other thing that ever tarnished the pure beauty of God. I am wife, mother, nana, artist, writer, minister (not ordained), disciple and friend. My husband and I live in Largo, Florida, praise God and where I am a member of Abundant Life Ministries church. I first gave my heart to the Lord in a home Bible Study when I was about 6 or 7 years old, and re-dedicated my life to him in 2001. Since then, I have been active in creative pursuits & various ministries within my church, including the Breakaway Gals, the Prophecy & Numbers group, the Media Team and various mural & set painting projects for both the Youth Ministries and the Drama Team. I received a BA in Art, Magna Cum Laude, from West Virginia State University in 1999 and have worked in the art and media industries ever since. God called me to the ministry early on (a rather persistent call at that) and gave me the Branches Ministry Group in 2010. He put us all here for a purpose, each uniquely qualified to fulfill that purpose. This is mine... a ministry dedicated to new vision, joy and strength in Christ through creative abiding.
